They dumped 14 billion ounces of paper silver on the market in 2 weeks. That's 100x the annual investable physical supply. The paper market is all that matters. Short-term price movement is meaningless. Wait for the COMEX deliveries in September and be patient. There are no other fundamentals that matter other than the paper-market, and whether they can provide physical delivery of the metal.

You won't see a correction until we really get into the crash; at which point you'll likely have already seen the monopoly money skyrocket. For now, just make do and mend with the ~50-60 dollar Silver (assuming it's like last crash). We can roast some smores as we wait for a reset from that point onward, and pray the US Fed don't figure out a way to worm themselves out of this one like they did last time.
In fact, once the correction happens along with monopoly money; I'd say 4 digit silver will happen before the correction (at which point you'll see some dumb shit like quintillion-value silver in monopoly money)

If you're panicking, you're giving in to their games. Have the fundamentals changed? No. Can the governments of the world get out of their debt-trap? No. Can they ever pay off the debt? No. Is there 40% real unemployment? Yes. Are countries around the world dumping the dollar and buying gold? Yes. Is the real economy completely and utterly broken? Yes. Is regular helicopter money coming? Yes. Is gold still historically undervalued, in terms of the Dow:Gold ratio? Yes. Is silver still historically undervalued when compared to gold? Yes. Are mining stocks still historically undervalued? Yes, unprecedentedly so. Is the mainstream stock market still unprecedentedly overvalued? Yes. Did Warren Buffett just invest in a gold-mining stock? Yes. Is it still almost impossible to source physical silver? Yes. Are the bankers therefore likely to get wiped out either in September or later this year by the COMEX deliveries? Yes. And so on and so on. What changed today? The bankers dumped billions of paper ounces on the futures market. That's it. Nothing else. Nothing whatsoever.

It's simple; people were buying gold in 2011 in anticipation of an imminent dollar collapse. They were right to anticipate that the dollar would fall. But the Fed still had a little ammunition left. Nominal yields on the ten-year were still 5%, so the Fed was able to do Q. E. 1, 2, and, 3, to send stocks soaring, and re-inflate the Housing Bubble into the Everything Bubble. COMEX manipulation also caused people to dump gold and pour into stocks. Meanwhile, the Fed was lying to the world and saying that they would eventually shrink the balance-sheet and normalize interest-rates. Well, when they actually did allow the ten-year yield to go up to 3% in late 2018, it immediately crashed the stock market from 26,500 to 22,500. The debt-trap was exposed, the Fed was forced to restart Q. E. again, and gold began to take off in earnest. Everybody now knows that there is no possible way the Fed can ever get out of this situation without either defaulting or hyper-inflating. Everybody knows that normalization is a lie. We have negatively-yielding bonds, and they can never go positive again. The budget and asset-bubbles are so enormous now that even a 1% yield on the ten-year would crash the market and make the deficit too large to pay. Negatively-yielding bonds will cause a crash in the bond-market, by which the Fed will have to monetize more and more of the debt until it is the only buyer of treasuries--this would require printing literally tens of trillions, since the bond market is even bigger than the stock market. At some point, all confidence in the dollar will be lost. The dollar _must_ lose its status as the world reserve currency, and gold _will_ go 5x when that happens. There is no way out for the bankers now. None at all. Understand the fundamentals, and you will feel a complete sense of calm.

P. S. Two additional points for consideration:

1) Unlike 2011, the real economy is now completely trashed, and we have 40% real unemployment. We now need regular helicopter money simply to keep people alive. This means that inflation is going to work its way into the real economy, and cannot be redirected into asset-bubbles.

2) A banking crisis is imminent, a fact which is reflected in the share-prices of the banks. Warren Buffett knows this, which is why he is dumping them. Bailing out the banks would utterly trash the dollar.

Gold went down after 2011 because the Fed stopped QE and was able to increase confidence in the dollar. One of two things will happen in our current scenario, the dollar crashes or the Fed manages to pull things back to "normalcy". In the former scenario there'd be no reason to sell whilst in the latter there'd be very clear indicators of when you should sell.

Friendly reminder that FED buying treasuries (i.e. QE) is a soft or implicit form of YCC since by buying treasuries they are overriding the free market pricing of bonds and supressing the yields. The only thing they are not doing is that they have not publicly committed to specific yields because they don't want to do this, but basically QE is already YCC just a soft form of it. Basically FED could say that they are not going to do YCC ever and simultaneously buy trillion worth of treasuries each month. This is similar to 2019 or when was it when they were doing QE and calling it "not QE".

Market crashed in 2018 when they left rates hit 3% and then they reversed course. Coronachan has only made that worse as there are trillions more in debt than at that time. Let's say you have $10k per year in income, and you owe $100k in debt, and you have to pay interest on that debt. If the real interest rate (interest - inflation) is even 10%, you have to spend ALL of your annual income just to pay interest in order not to default. Every 1% of real interest that you pay is actually 10% of your total budget for the year, just for interest. Even if you could pay 0 interest and put ALL of your money towards your debt it would take 10 years to pay it off, without being able to afford too spend money on anything else at all in the meantime.

That's basically the situation that the US federal government is in right now. Now add to the situation the fact that many US businesses are ALSO in the same position ("zombie companies"), and are dependent on low interest rates, rolling debt, and bailouts to keep them from going bankrupt and shutting down. If rates rise, not only would the federal government go bankrupt, but so would a huge wave of US businesses, creating another huge wave of unemployment which means even less productivity, which means less tax revenue, which means less income to pay debt interest, etc. It's an almost immediate and massive downward spiral.

This fiat system isn't new. It has been tried dozens of times before, and always failed. This is why Howard Buffett, the ingenious father of Warren Buffett, was able to predict exactly what is going on right now in 1948. He said that paper-currency would cause America to become a totalitarian welfare-warfare state.

*

"The paper money disease has been a pleasant habit thus far and will not he dropped voluntarily any more than a dope user will without a struggle give up narcotics. But in each case the end of the road is not a desirable prospect

Unless you are willing to surrender your children and your country to galloping inflation, war and slavery, then this cause demands your support. For if human liberty is to survive in America, we must win the battle to restore honest money.

I can find no evidence to support a hope that our fiat paper money venture will fare better ultimately than such experiments in other lands. Because of our economic strength the paper money disease here may take many years to run its course. But when that day arrives, our political rulers will probably find that foreign war and ruthless regimentation is the cunning alternative to domestic strife. That was the way out for the paper money economy of Hitler and others.

Today Congress is constantly besieged by minority groups seeking benefits from the public treasury. Often these groups control enough votes in many Congressional districts to change the outcome of elections. And so Congressmen find it difficult to persuade themselves not to give in to pressure groups. With no bad immediate consequence it becomes expedient to accede to a spending demand. The Treasury is seemingly inexhaustible. Besides the unorganized taxpayers back home may not notice this particular expenditure -- and so it goes."

Well like I said it goes one of two ways. Price drops to pre-COVID numbers and we can easily pull it down, or the price keeps steadily climbing and $28/oz becomes the new $18/oz of yesteryear, making our stack simply worth $4/oz below spot. I'm more than ok with either, personally. Ideally there's a flash drop and it bounces back but that'd be ridiculous to expect.

By minority groups Buffett might include the Israeli Lobby, but that category would also encompass any pressure-group, whether left-wing or right-wing. 18th-century France is the closest historical analogy to what is going on right now, and the Mississippi Bubble was the invention of a Scotsman, John Law. And Keynes himself was a gentile, as were the architects of all the other paper currency schemes throughout history.

I think some of you might have some misconceptions about how space works. It takes comparatively little energy to alter the trajectory of large bodies in space. It's 100% feasible with today's technology and all of the major mining company's are looking into it. The entire process would be automated and even getting the metal to the surface isn't as logistically challenging as most people would think.

This is precisely the point. The bankers dump the price to shake out weak longs, as well as to close their own short positions and go long. The bankers are trying to make the situation as favourable as possible for themselves in anticipation of the September deliveries.
