GDX is down 3%. Absolute joke. It's now the same price as it was when gold had not broken above $1800. Barrick Gold is one of the GDX's largest holdings; even Warren Buffett isn't even enough to convince people to buy mining stocks. SILJ even more of a joke. It's priced for $18 silver again. I'm not even remotely concerned when the market is behaving so irrationally. I only wish I had the money to buy more.

>>21629332

Repeating this from last thread:

"Which broker do you use? Fireweed Zinc is an absolute bargain now. Zinc is up again today; it has been climbing constantly for weeks. FWZ also has an enormous amount of silver. And yet the stock is the same price as it was in February. Same case with respect to Tinka Resources, which has 7 billion pounds of zinc and 60 million ounces of silver. People are completely ignoring these silver-zinc stocks."

Zinc is now higher than it was during most of February, and silver has doubled. Even a fool can see that Tinka and FWZ should have moved much higher since February. Most silver is mined as a by-product of mining other metals. Only a few companies, like Impact Silver, are pure silver producers. The market should still take account of the fact that those 60 million ounces of silver in the ground have doubled in value.

but yeah, the damage from this asinine fake pandemic is going to take several years to recover from, when gdp contracts it means you need to make double in growth just to get back to where you started, so with -30% gdp we need 60% growth just to get back to 2019 levels, and thats ignoring the fact the dollar has weakened making imports more expensive and that other countries with weakened production are going to reduce their exports making our imports even more expensive, I cant their isnt panic over this, there was panic over a fucking flu that was harmless but a literall empire destroying catastrophe goes unnoticed

So if I am maxed out in physical and miners with no cash on the side, would it be a wise move to sell some of my miners now to keep cash on the side in case of a crash? How likely is a crash? Seems they will do everything they can to prohibit a crash and the entire premise right now of PMs is that the Fed is going to do so much printing to keep the market up that the dollar is going to be debased. There is a crowd of TA people who keep insisting that there is going to be "one last big pullback" before the Fed steps in and implements YCC, to make stocks, metals, and miners, soar to unprecedented heights. However, these people have been wrong since April, and have been clamouring for this correction since gold was $1670 and silver was $17. Many people have been shaken out by them, and missed enormous gains. Personally, I'm not selling anything. I won't risk getting priced out by a black swan event, like a COMEX default, a banking crisis, or a currency reset. Even if the market does crash, all you have to do is wait until September. That's when we get both the COMEX deliveries, and the FOMC meeting; and shortly after, Q3 earnings for the miners.

I'm very close to spending the majority of my savings on silver and gold. On another note:
Is there any reason I shouldn't collect lower content silver alloys? I'm looking at a dozen of coins with 72% silver that sell below the silver price (minus the base metals of course).
Right now the majority of my stack is over 92.5%. Should I keep focusing on highest silver content?
Does it matter that it's only 72% even if the price for silver content alone is below spot, or should I always look at price per silver weight even if it is a less pure alloy?

This. If the past 10 years have taught me one thing, it is do not ever bet against the fed's ability to maintain the status quo. They are 100% and ends justify the means operation. The currency will never collapse, PMs will never moon. Why? Because it would disturb the status quo.

The language is interesting. Those who discussed YCC said that it would provide "_only_ modest benefits" "_in the current environment." So that's a tacit admission that

1) They consider YCC "modestly beneficial";
2) They think that it would be more than "modestly" beneficial "in the right environment."

"YCC should remain an option that the Committee could reassess in the future if circumstances changed."
