Hello, Marines. Things have been a bit drastic as of late. Sharp drops, lots of fud, and a whole lot of vitriol from both sides as of late. I think now more than ever this thread is needed.

Speaking of, these set of threads are fairly simple- the idea is for fellow Link Marines to share in comfy vibes, enjoy good music and good art, share their worries and concerns, and hopefully come out in a better mood. Clear heads are needed in a time like this, and when placed under pressure, we must be able to see through the shit flinging and pick out the nuggets of gold.

Things are down, of course. With link at $15.31 as I write, it's a sad and dissapointing to see- but, once again as I always do, I urge you to zoom out. We are still double digits, and we are still higher than we were a month ago. Remember when $15 was FUD? I certainly do.

And, don't forget- we've got news and conferences and more partnerships and other good things coming our way. All hope is not lost, and if we pull back from our tunnel vision then you will see we are in a pretty decent place still. A correction was to be expected, and we will probably go lower still- but this will not kill us.


At any rate, I start today with a shot I took a few days ago and compressed to fit. I haven't done any editing to it.

All the same, it seems tonight it set to be quiet. Busy night, perhaps. Oh well. I hope you Marines are doing alright and are comfy enough. Stay warm, stay cozy, and don't sell unless you absolutely must. We will make it through this just fine. We've seen worse before.

On an unrelated note, I started reading that book by Klaus Schawb. It's some pretty heavy reading, but very thought provoking. I suggest you marines pick up a copy and read through it.

Anybody own body armor?

Thinking about getting Hesco 4400s before the election. At 8lbs a plate not sure how much that’s going to suck wearing. My goal is to be able to travel light and eat shitty rice like a vietkong while avoiding BLM hordes

You're better off asking in /k/ and not /biz/, fren. But, body armor for the individual and it's usefulness isn't perse super useful. If you're getting shot once, you're probably gonna get shot again. If you want to be light on your feet your better off just getting a vest without plates, saving the weight, and putting that money towards food and ammo instead.


Besides, soldiers who wear body armor are supported by medical staff and such, who can immediately medevac you out of the area if you go down.
