anyone else feel ETHs days as the leading dapp platform are numbered? there SHOULD be multiple dapp platforms the same way there’s multiple programming languages. why the fuck should the entire crypto space put all its eggs in one basket? we are all relying on some commie retard who touches his wiener under the table while being recorded. literally cannot scale.

Bitcoin still has ~60% dominance. Ethereum + ERC20s have maybe 20% in total.
I wish something as good as ETH would come along though. Competition would be good for the space. And no, polkadot is not real competition. Polkadot has a whole new architecture. You can't do smart contracts with DOTs even.

Its a free market. Projects can make their tokens on wherever they want. They have mainly chosen Ethereum. There is no crypto overseer that distributes the eggs and forces projects to go on Ethereum.
