You toss 10,000 into apple stock. It splits. After split you still have 10,000 but more shares per that 10,000 and the stock price is trading way low. Your 10,000 doesn't change. But since the stock price is cheap (112-120) you stand to make loads of gains cause there's no way a company like apple will keep that cheap stock price for long. In 2014 apple did a split. Stock went from 600 down to under 100. Now the stock is on the top end of 400 range. History will repeat. In a much shorter time span to I'd guess due to the virus. Virus gets worse during fall/winter. Looks what happened during the spring/summer; investors fled to tech stocks sending prices sky high.
