It's like a Synthetix but more niche, right?
The project is SOLID

but... WHY should the DMG token pump?

I'm not asking about speculation itself. But I don't see ANY pumpamentals?

If I read everything correctly, there is no theoretical tokenomics to make it pump.

The tokens paying out interest fees pay out a flat rate. However the debt pool will make more than the flat rate. DMG holders can then vote to pay out the excess income on the debt the foundation holds to the DMG holders. That's one that comes to mind.
