Why do people still hold Bitcoin? I'm referring to /biz/ anons, specifically.

Even in the dreamland next bullrun fantasies, most people expect this to only go x10 or x20 max. Enough to drag up some shitcoins to some extreme pumps (for those who got in early enough), but I can't imagine why you'd continue holding BTC itself. Not even fudding, just genuinely curious what kind of future some of you guys see in this coin.

BTC is the one coin you can hold and not look at. I hold 1 btc and then the rest of my portfolio is link (4k linkies). 99% of coins got shit on during the bear market, BTC did not, nearly a 4x from low

Some people want to play safe, others want to play half safe and others go complete insane and bet it all. Bitcoin is a safe bet, some ships have already sailed, like chainlink, and not every altcoin will make it. Not everyone is well informed to know which coins are good and which aren't going to make it. People just know btc will do 20x and that's enough to get anyone's panties wet.

Btc is money plain and simple. Might not see huge gains with it but that's not what it's for. Wealth preservation is important. Sure we got lucky making big bets. 10k would be a healthy bump to a microcap but try putting a million in and you're fucked. All in on a coin only works when you're poor. Stacking sats is the name of the game here.
