This is absolutely disgusting,

I understand it has none to do with Chainlink/Sergey & the team, but the community is just vile. And let's face it.. more often then not the community makes or breaks it.

Unfortunately it seems a majority of the Chainlink holders are from 4chan /biz/ and the content you guys keep pushing forward has me abandoning this project for good.

The internet is not a forgiving place and it keeps files & threads well maintained and circulating for years to come. Every time i try and gather a bit of information about Chainlink on whatever search engine ; i end up having to pass through tons & tons of complete childish/vile 4chan archive threads ..

How are upcoming partnerships going to react seeing this sort of stuff being brought forward by the community inhabiting/representing this project. Potential investors, Heck.. we all know how much the news loves articles about 4chan & about crypto, cheers for giving them the perfect nudge-up.

I've seen how long of a way a little misunderstanding got wtc, i'm not going to stick around and wait for this one to blow up.

This is bait, but it's also wrong in an interesting way: OP is right that 4chan's involvement could have had a negative impact on the project's reputation. But, because of the intense attention of such a toxic community, they had to step up their professionalism and opsec a lot right off the bat. So I think the toxicity here actually toughened up the team and made them more capable. I *guarantee* you that Sergey has had to talk with the team in private meetings about /biz/ and 4chan. 100% guarantee. Probably some intern's job is to monitor this site and all the tranny discords.
