First stack. Got another k of rounds and a k of 10 oz bars on the way.

Just positioned for PM miners, thanks for the (hopefully) good recs guys!

A q, what do you balance your PM stocks with? I consider my crypto holdings as an entirely separate marketplace altogether (60/10/10/10 crypto/PM/stocks/Fiat) and do hold some undervalued tech and semi conducters, and I'm starting to reposition my tax advantaged holdings to accommodate the changing market conditions.

Cheers! Got the dragon sickness breathe that fire hot

I've loved Walking Liberty since I got into stacking last year. Just an absolutely gorgeous image on a beautiful round, as all-American as it gets.

Still, were it not for image of the Queen on the obverse of Britannia, I might have voted Britannia #1, but the queen on the flip side ruins it for me. Just my opinion, no offence meant.

I just mean that before, my perspective was to get as much silver as possible. Now that I have a decent stack and we are approaching what could be a price rise that prices me out of the market, I thought I should pick up some of those specialty higher premium items that I just find cool, but could never justify before. So I’m just thinking, “If I don’t ‘overpay’ now, I’ll never afford one.” That kind of thing. Pic related is an example of something that I just find really cool, but would never have bought before until the prospect arose where I might never buy one if not now.

Suggest you consider a non-bank private vault. Think Brinks, Loomis, Guarda, etc. LCS may have some ideas too.

If (when) SHTF expect banks to be closed and access to safe deposit boxes restricted. Doubt you’d lose the contents but also don’t expect to be able to access them until banks come back online.

That’s not to say Brinks & the like will be able to maintain 100% uptime access BUT if they do go offline, they will probably rebound quicker than the banks.

Food for thought.

Safe deposit boxes can be used by you need to keep a close watch on the bank. You should probably check the contents of your safe deposit box at least once per month. Furthermore, any major changes in the bank such as management changes, being bought out by another bank, or insolvency means that you must monitor things more clearly as those are the most likely times when safe deposit box contents get "lost" due to "clerical errors."

You could also buy gold through something like GoldMoney or BullionVault.

Cleaning coins never helps the value. However, for bullion coins, I don't think it'll matter too much. You can use a paper towel but it'll be more abrasive than a soft cloth. If you have old underwear or undershirts, use those instead.

Who actually gives a shit about government crypto? Government crypto is literally just going to be digital paper fiat and doesn't change the game in any way at all other than to make 1984 surveillance even easier.

Unless you actually use cash for a significant amount of transactions it's not going to make any difference, and there's nothing that can ever stop an underground economy from starting up using physical assets for "special" transactions.

I bought 150oz of silver online using a bank payment which will be 100% traceable, and I don't give a fuck that some glowniggers could find out about it. Unfortunately, the silver was never actually delivered to me; UPS didn't actually take a signiture on delivery even though it was required. I don't know if UPS stole it or it was stolen off the doorstep, but I don't have it. Shame.

i actually agree with you guys, the gun is actually a decent little pistol. but yeah when i can't stomach the price of silver any more, i'm buying a good revolver and maybe a better AR, i miss my old bushmaster variant

I've been keeping a balance in my bank of about 5k dollars and buying silver/crypto with the excess just in case inflation hits hard. I've got a little tube-fed magazine .22 and a .38 revolver, but have been trying to find a fucking Mossberg 500 for months now. (Cant shop online thanks to being in MA), you think a lever-action is a decent enough weapon, or should I prioritize on getting a semi-automatic. My budget would be around 1000 for a weapon. AR-15s in this state are pretty tricky too, so I tend to stick to boomer-tier weapons to avoid complications with the law.

Get a semi, and get out of MA. For poverty mode (aka I want all my money to go to PMs). Get a glock in 9mm and get a PSA AR if you can find one. You could also do an 80% build on the glock if that makes acquiring it easier. It's hard to find anything in stock.

The reason I recommend both is the glock will be a competent, proven hand gun. And the AR is the basic modern infantry rifle.

>>21473291
honestly, a AR is better. but unless you're a good shot and some serious barricading chances are you won't last much longer then you with a decent bolt action rifle and a handgun....

This. Weapons can only do so much to get you out of a bad situation.

You know these mass shootings? If everybody decided to rush the guy in a group, they would be able to quickly overwhelm him and tear him to shreds. Nobody does it though because nobody wants to get shot.

I plan on leaving this state soon enough, gotta work out some college shit. Strongly considering selling all my stuff, minus the metals, and bicycling across the US for awhile until I find a place I can call home. Learning towards Idaho. Gun laws here are dogshit, and it's hard to find ranges to shoot at. Long term I'd love to live in an area where I can just shoot on my own property.
