LRC has been in stealth phase since Jan. Notice many biz threads about LRC during that time? No you don’t because niggers were accumulating

>> No.21424842

>> No.21424850

Serious question about loopring guys are zkrollups on an exchange good for anything beyond tax evasion and money laundering?

>> No.21424906

I bought 50k of those when they came out first in October 2017, sold at 50% loss in 2018. Biggest mistake

>> No.21424970

Been using their exchange since it launched, got one of the "VIP for life" seats. Volume is nonexistent for some pairs, which is unfortunate since the exchange itself is pretty good.

Staking rewards are also pretty garbage at the moment, so don't buy with the intention of doing that.

>> No.21424982

I got burned big time in 17-18 on this but re-upped in Jan and now I’m finally in profit. LRC had the stigma of a failed shitcoin for the longest time

i've known about this but haven't bothered to look into it/use it beyond checking what pairs have been added. what is the deal with adding pairs? i presume its permissioned in some manner? i just look at it and see something that will benefit everyone once its more popular so i just don't care about holding its token. can i get a quick run down on how much of a gay retard i am?

tps...

The entire point is tps with ethereum-level security.

Transactions more-or-less instant and free.

Why do you think it's pumping now that gas fees are killing ethereum? It is the solution. They have fully audited code running on the mainnet today, with all their documentation for implementation available.

remember that staking rewards are protocol wide. there is a difference between the exchange and the protocol. there are other exchanges launching on the protocol.

You have to fill out a form for Loopring to add your pair, and they claim they're being selective with them. It's not like Uniswap where anyone can add anything. Then trading volume only comes from users that have added their tokens/ETH to the protocol; you can't trade directly from your Metamask. They describe it as a chicken and egg problem. They need people to add volume but they need volume to do so.

>>21425384

True, and maybe I'm just impatient. I've made 1% since staking in March, which should theoretically be the lowest volume the protocol ever does if it actually gains traction? It's just not the main reason to buy LRC in my eyes.

First of all that infograph is trash. I thought I saw two token whiteboys on their core team, damn. Loopring is one solution that creates a larger problem of enabling extremely largescale transactions outside of regulatory purview. I know I sound like a faggot but theres a ton of big money abhorrent people out there that you dont want protected. God that infograph really is shit.

the problem with communists in business is they can call one thing something else if the state agrees. Ethereum is a damned minefield. Are you suggesting lrc protocol cant be used for money laundering on an extremely large scale?

Fully audited, deployed on mainnet now. No shortcuts.

Can be implemented into any DeFi project today, significant uptake would save Ethereum from attrition due to gas fees. All it would take is for tether transactions to be moved onto the loopring rollup and things would improve massively.

For now you can trade on loopring DEX for virutally 0 fees.

Watch this space.

Just pray and you’ll find your way through it eventually. Tax evasion and money laundering is more possible using this technology than ever before; yes or no? LRC solves a temporary problem by cresting a much larger one. You cant defend this and thats why you’re slinging shit. If you are a proponent of lawlessness go ahead and say so and you can call me whatever you like while I move on

m8 i'm not arguing anything i'm simply baffled you couldn't see the direction fake internet money was headed 10 years ago. its been really obvious for an excruciatingly long time that fake internet money is likely going to lead to more anonymous transactions and the ability to evade the legal system. i'm not passing judgement on this, but i will, because now i think you're not pretending. the idea that fake internet money is a opportunity for the wealthy to evade regulation, taxes, whatever is laughable. they have always had the upper hand at doing this. fake internet money levels the playing field for people not as wealthy to do the same as the wealthy have always been doing since the dawn of city states. try to be less of a reddit homo in future thank you.

Please attempt to be less retarded. Crypto will not eliminate criminal enterprise, however due to the immutable properties of the blockchain ledger, it will be much more difficult to proceed than via the traditional banking system.

What do you mean by subject to rollups? Network fees are low due to the massively increase tps? Yes, especially for now.

However, if you want to sell, would you rather pay fees for the privilege or earn them for the service of providing liquidity?

This alone kills traditional banking. The revolution is here. Get hype.
