HEDGING LINK GAINS DISCUSSION

Alright retards we are clearly nearing the peak of this current run and will probably retrace significantly within a week if not sooner. Now I don't want to sell because I've been holding forever but I do swing a portion of my stack. What are the best options to protect profits?

So far I thought about doing

-5x LINK short with maybe $10K-15K USD that I will leg into slowly

-5x BTC Long with around 12K for a total of 5 BTC

-Somekind of jew money magic on AAVE to create a safe but synthetic short on LINK( I want discussion about this one, I not sure what the best pair to use to accomplish that entirely)

-Silver miners index long

Any other combinations are welcomed

Hedging is a viable strategy and I'm will to pay a % of the recent gains to lock in what I currently have. If only LINK Puts existed.

wish they had a 60/40 yield robo set like they have for ETH but there might be some LINK funds but ran by the social traders

I'll look into this. I'm a bit unclear on the AAVE mechanics though. If my LINK I'm borrowing from drops to low and isn't sufficient collateral on the USDC, I get liquidated right? On the flipside if the underlying LINK goes up I get liquidated on the short probably but then I can use it to pay back the loan? I've never used AAVE before but read a little about it and have seen posts here.

Depending on your income for the year, up to 40K long term capital gains is tax free on the federal level. So if you are a NEET and hold LINK for a year and sell 40K USD with no other income worth there are no taxes. Its fucking sweet. I need to find a state without taxes either.

as long as your health bar is okay you are good. If it looks like you may get liquidated, just put in more LINK or repay part of loan

How does it work though if the LINK becomes worth more while it being loaned out? Am I able to directly sell the collateral to pay the USDC loan back as a hypothetical? My health factor goes up with it I'm assuming.
