Sure, a portion of the distribution is no doubt going to be sold right away, but the thing is as long as not 100% of the distribution are sold because some might choose to hold for price appreciation, the overall effect would be positive. This also helps distribute sxp more evenly so there will be less whales to dump which is again bullish.
