Any of you have stories about telling your friends/family about chainlink? I've only told two friends, both of which bought a small stack and they are enjoying the ride with me

I sent him the whitepaper a year ago though.

>uhm anon, this stock is only 17 cents, theres no way its legit
>holy shit anon! chainlink fences are 17 dollars! i dropped $100 and got 6 for myself. $1000 end of year!!!

Yeah he’s psyched for me, just a very type A person so missing out on 10x gains pisses him off a bit.

>> No.21389629

>>21389488
kek this is exactly how it went even though they are not normies, they were priced out pretty hard they managed to get 250 linkies each. I lied about my stack and told them I have 1500 when I have much more. Don’t wanna lose them over some money issues.

>> No.21389706

i told my friend that was shilling me dent coin at the time. I don't think he remembers but if it ever clicks he is going to be hella jelly. I haven't told anyone about my stack since then. Only you faggots know

>> No.21389725

got my brother to buy 200. a friend of ours saw how much he was making and just bought $500 worth earlier today. another friend of mine mentioned that his coworker bought a 10k stack at $3.50. I told him he should buy some too, but he didn't.

Told my mom about it and she asked me to buy some for her. so that's cool

>> No.21389762

I have an obese friend who literally has a very shitty life because of his fatness.

Probably his fault but I've never seen him more happier because of this.

I gave this info to some other friend and there are some that are skeptical.

My family was skeptical but eventually fell in. My sister, single mom, now has more money than she has ever had with a manipulative ex husband. This will help her

I also have some friends who avoided it like a plague. I told them that researching it will be worth their time. They got lazy. They are regretting it now in silence though.

Overall, it's hard help people who don't want to read about the product themselves.

>> No.21389775

Told two of my friends. One of them, who actually browsed /biz/ and knew about link, (which I didnt know) said he didnt buy any when I asked because "it looks too memey." Yes, he unironically fell for the link is a meme meme. The other friend i told about it was utterly disinterested and didnt buy any.

I got cucked by AB and made my first purchase above $1 in 2018 and DCA'd down and back up. Thanks to leverage i'm in the top 500. I told my friend about it winter 2018 and he dropped 20k on it at ~$0.50 with a 0% apr credit card. He followed me down playing with aave and has a pretty sizable stack now. Currently stress testing our link node on ropsten and alladat before being vetted by the team.

Told my bro in law about it who is an absolute douchbag. Very competitive. But I had to convince him to help my sister. I literally sent him every breadcrumb/link and article I found since the assblaster days. He rejected all without bothering to even read them.

He'll likely be the on that will regret the most as he saw link prices since 17c. I dont care though but I know my sister will be pissed because she generally trusts me

Told two close friends multiple times about it at 30cents, they didn't buy and fomoed during the Coinbase pump, holding both around 1k now kek. Now I'm telling them not to sell before they get life changing money, lets see if they will listen.
Also told my girlfriend (who had way more money able to invest than I did at that point) about Link at 30 cents, she didn't buy. Told her again after the Google annoucement, she didn't buy. Told her a few weeks before we pumped to 8$, guess what, she didn't buy. She has absolutely no idea how much I own and I will never tell her tho and doesn't seem to have any interest in investing or finance at all.

>> No.21389965

>I have an obese friend who literally has a very shitty life because of his fatness.
>Probably his fault
Is this the level of personal accountability we've achieved as a society?
When a person can eat so much food that he becomes obese, yet we suggest that it's only "probably his fault?"
In what scenario would eating to such excess for such a long duration to cause him to become obese NOT be his own fault?

My wife and I bought in together. We didn't have much money back in '18 but still put in some every paycheck. Feels so good now we're mooning.

I've told everyone they didn't listen. I've sent the WEF book from Schlauwb thinking they'd believe in a legit source, they didn't read. I guess it's the DR;DS vs DR;DB. My gf bought 5k when I bought 12. 5k so I guess I found the one, we have nearly a double make it stack.

Bought some for my brother in law.

Split €2500 into REQ/VET/LINK. The first two obviously dumped but LINK has now led up to €11K.

Fucking kek, it's the exact opposite with me. I was all in Enigma buying up to the end until the crash. It never went up so I said fuck it and sold at a huge loss to buy into the link memes. I never thought I would actually hit 6 figures.

told one bro a while back. He's my best bro. He didn't really acknowledge it. The other day I brought it up to him, just to see if he remembered the past conversation or anything, and he didn't remember at all. He's happy for my success and I know he is. He's the best bro and I miss him a lot

I've told my boss about it. He likes to give me gambling advice. He likes to play craps

I've told my brother about it many times. He finally bought in yesterday. He now owns 15 LINK

I agree, its absolutely his fault. Just giving a tiny shred of benefit of doubt while typing on this thread.

His complaint to me was that he got addicted to pain killers and in the process ate a ton. I say bs but not something I care to look into. So that may explain why I said "probably"

I also told my father, he even gave me some money to invest into shitcoins in late 2017. I lost most of his money but i have been accumulating LINK since 2018 and i plan to give him a high % of my gains because he is the reason why i was able to live with zero spending since 2017 to buy link. If he would be lazy greedy idiot i would be living paycheck from paycheck and have only a suicide stack now.
I didn't tell my friends or anyone about LINK, they called Bitcoin a bubble and a ponzi so no reason to... they wouldn't invest anyway... I think i told one internship chick who was interested in blockchain... i hope she did buy some but even if, she probably sold at 10.

>> No.21390298

I bought some last year and earlier this year and had been accumulating. I am now considering when to work part time.
I had told my mother about it from time to time. She's a total boomer but she had bought some Bitcoin because she's aware of the (((inflation))) scam. I insisted that she switch to LINK literally 24 hours before it burst through 5 dollars and she's been loving it.
My gf actually has been listening to me and bought a small bag she could afford. Then her dad bought some. A friend of mine also bought some when I told her how much I had made. She's obsessed with the price action.
Another friend of mine, who introduced me to crypto, is an XRP whale. He bought some Link earlier this year but it's not a big bag. He's now seen my bag get valuable while his XRP bag is barely in profit. I kinda feel bad for him because he was the one who got me into this whole thing and I'm killing it while he isn't.
