Wouldn't this be a great oppurtunity for Blockchain? Having a consesuse driven voting system on the Blockchain. Are their any coins or networks that could solve this problem? And why does it seem no developers are working on this issue now?

this is not a new idea anon, Vitalik wrote about it years ago. you need to be able to mix up the results so that you know a vote came from a pool of people but you don't know who voted for who. Also therr is literally nothing that can scale for something like this right now.

not hard.just voter id and smart contracts
then voting machines running TEE's that write direct to the voting smart contract and print off a cryptographic proof you can validate via an app after you vote
each voter id issued holds the private key and is allocated rights to vote once

could prob tie it to a dapp so you could vote from home using that and the key which your voter id card holds. voting open for a week, you can contest or recast your vote up till "election day"
