Check out Amp Clearing, it's who I use. Lowest commission and margins in the industry as far as I know and only takes a day or two to get approved. Account minimum is like $500 or might even be less now. After getting approved they ask you what platform you want and what feed. I chose Sierrachart and CQG along with CME and CBOT data so I can trade index futures like S&P and Nasdaq along with treasuries which more or less inverse the equity indexes giving me a good inverse without shorting since I'm not as good at shorting as going long for some reason.

Yeah, I think Chinese EV companies are going to have a harder time breaking into other markets than people think. With increasing automation, vehicle production has the highest margins when done for a local market. If the Chinese have to build cars in North America they're losing their main advantage which is cheap labor. If they ship them from China, shipping eats heavily into the margins.

I think the bigger problem here is the amount of new EV companies taking investor money for cars they're claiming they're going to be able to produce in 2022+ when most of them are going to fail and few of them have any advantages compared to real automakers. Mullen is just a clear example because of fucked up their plan is. They're buying Chinese cars and trying to resell them in hopes that they'll be able to use it as a springboard to make their own SUV with their made up battery technology. What I don't understand is why the fuck would they merge with a payment processing company? This shit is so shady.
