Don't know. Maybe because nobody wants to sell with these gas prices

>> No.21347489

No. Official crypto bullrun start after BTC surpass previous 20K high and Alt run doesn't start until BTC dominance is sub 45-50%, Don't get blinded by some defi projects and another few, Most alts barely even increased in sats, In a proper Alt run even the biggest dead projects do x5-10 in sats.

This is what i was thinking too, but on the weeklys btc looks like it could be priming up. I dont really care for technicals I just want to assess the fundamentals. Can we really have a bull market in the midst of a global recession?

I personally think the dollar is being massive devalued and that crypto might be a safe haven (mainly btc, but will eventually trickle into alts too). But im not sure whether we’ll see a bull run on the magnitude of 2017 - but idk shit, hopefully some wiser anons can help me understand

>> No.21348860

>>21348800
The dollar will continue to be devalued, because of the incoming hyper inflation. Crypto will be a hedge against it that's for sure. But with swing traders manipulating price we'll have to see..

All of my paychecks go in crypto, not because I necessarily want to make it but because I know the current system is unsustainable.
If I can make it at the same time, I'll take it for sure, I'm not delusional

Nope, we are in a DEFI bubble that shouldn't have happened before the actual bullrun, and that's bearish for alts in the same way IEO popped with shitty returns as it excluded retail. Enjoy while it lasts.

This, although I'm concerned that ETH's inability to scale right now might preemptively neuter the bull run before it even begins. Holy shit those gas fees

>> No.21350733

This is my thoughts as well. I would say that most investors in crypto are more knowledgable than in 2017, and so things such as gas prices and other fees may deter high levels of investment into particular projects. But we’ll have to see

Link has fiat pairs it has no impact

>> No.21350881

>>21350762
Moving of link can incur gas fees though, deterring people to move it off an exchange. If it does start to pick up in price (triple digits) I wouldnt be surprised if some major exchange pulled a MtGox. I hope thats a completely unrealistic hypothetical, but surely the high gas prices can bring into question the level of scalability of projects on the eth blockchain? What do you think?
