So no and, it isn't that they're giving it away it's that they're forking it. When you fork a chain all of the coins duplicate and they duplicate in the locations that they were recorded in during the snapshot. So anyone who has those coins also receives the forked version. It's the same thing with Bitcoin in the five different imitations that tried to do what it did. They're creating this for leverage utility and application. It's a win-win win
