There was one night Link hit something like 15 cents in one of it's biggest dips. I wanted to buy but was too lazy to log in. Forgot for a few days and it was already like 40 or 50 cents again and I said nope too expensive.

2017-2018 I worked on a cruise ship. 8 months of the year on board. I used to spend so much money on internet cards trying to buy link.
I seen the threads of link and I honestly don’t know how many times I tried to buy link. Just nothing would work. With places having to get my passport/phone number etc to use my card. Then they wanted to text me for 2fs or whatever and I’m like how the fuck I’m in the middle of the ocean I can’t receive a text. Then with the internet being so slow in the middle of the ocean pages/services would just drop out. Or the salatlie would change during transaction and the internet would go down. I’d get a new IP and then need to go through the whole process again on 56kb Internet.
I would have at least 10k I swear to fuck.
After I left the cruises in 2019 I had no job for 8 months so I didn’t have enough money to get a decent stack before it took off.
