Lition is a layer 2 that runs on top of ethereum.
That solves problems such as scalability, that eth is dealing with right now.
When mainnet goes live, dapps such as YAM be built on top of lition, and still be an erc20.
Imagine the number of transactions being too high become a problem on Eth.
But on Lition, not only does it run smoothly because of the numbers of tx it can process. But people who are staking get better rewards.
So I wouldn't be surprised if we see some cool defi project being built on Lition
