Help me understand the crypto endgame.

I understand that BTC can be used to facilitate transactions for goods and services, like any other currency. But I don't understand how all these other coins and tokens come into play. When all of this shit goes mainstream to the point of normal fags using it everyday to buy groceries, what will it actually look like? How many of these cryptos will actually be around?

90% of these coins don't actually do anything. DeFi is a meme and the banks are NEVER going to allow crypto to take off unless they're in charge. The "endgame" of most cryptos is to dump your bags on the people who come after you. That's it.
