WAS CRIPPLED BY VITALKIKESTREAM PROPAGANDA BY LIMITING BLOCK SIZE
ETHEREUM CASH IS THE REAL ETHEREUM
WE JUST NEED BIGGER ETHEREUM BLOCKS TO SOLVE COSTLY TRANSACTIONS AND TO SCALE INFINITELY
(meanwhile laughing at bcashies now below link, short all layer ones but BTC, layer two in obviously necessary)

Unironically why can't he just like double the block sizes until eth 2.0 comes out?

Because increasing block size is not a scaling solution that's sustainable. Craig Wright is such a cringy stupid fuck.

What makes it unsustainable? Couldn't it work as like a temporary patch until shit gets fixed?

Because of uncle rates. They have in fact raised the capacity multiple times over the last few years as innovations in efficiency have made it possible while keeping the uncle rate low, but at some point it's not worth focusing on as there is diminishing returns and it would drag devs away from ETH 2.0 and delay it even further.

Ethereum already suffers from full nodes that are not syncable very easily on home computers and most nodes actually run on AWS or similar services. Increasing the block sizes would just make this 10x worse.

Ok thanks. So when 2.0 launches do they have a fix for this since I thought the main idea behind it was even small time players running nodes at home.

I'm using geth w/fast sync. So it's absolutelly normal.

You have no idea what you're talking about. You don't need the complete unprunned chaindata to be a node.

>> No.21319275

>>21319219

Adding to that, the full chain is still around 450GB.

You don't need the complete ethereum state to be able to lookup all blocks.
