There might be some projects with DeFi on other platforms, but there are no users. The community just doesn't exist there. The fact that you have to ask shows my point. Maybe its the best time to buy some DeFi tokens there at the bottom, but maybe they will never catch on and just stay at the bottom.

Iota will be from November onwards. They'll have a stable network which can handle 3,000 ctps, and introduce re-usable addresses in november in addition to coloured coins (similar to erc20) for ICOs and more importantly proof of ownership (as you can peg anything to a token, from fiat, to shares, art, property, etc). Not ready yet, but worth to keek an eye on for later this year. If the defi bubble hasn't burst by then.
