Right now theres a ton of congestion (read as: demand) from all of these defi apps being used, and thats causing ethereum fees to skyrocket. https://www.ethgasstation.info/

Many of these ethereum transactions are simple token swaps, including tether which is using the most gwei by a large margin.

OMG batches groups of ethereum token swaps together, and posts them to the ethereum blockchain. Its a scaling solution for ethereum.

Bitfinex is moving tether transactions to the omg network. Even though the transactions will be on the omg network, they will be settled on the ethereum blockchain.

Ive accumulated to the point of exhaustion, as have others here. This coin is about to explode, so im giving you a chance to make it with us.
