i started with $30k a couple of years ago, you need at least $25k in your account to avoid the PDT rule. i studied every day and paper traded for a year before i ever used real money though. go to livetraders on youtube and watch all of jared's shit on how to trade and manage risk. im not shilling it because it's literally all free content and im sure other anons will back me up on the guy's credibility.

warrior trading is also pretty legit and also plenty of free shit on youtube. you shouldn't have to pay a dime for your financial trading education. a lot of it is backtesting and practice and scaling up slowly, the retards who blow their accounts risk way too much too early, when i started with real money i was only risking $10 at a time. the better you perform the more you can risk over time, should be common sense.

i also like smallshare trading, but nobody knows about that guy, he gets like less than 100 views a video but he records all of his day trades every day so it's fun to watch. for example his most recent one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4g0vvvlmO-8 146 views but i enjoy watching people actually doing real trades, you can learn a lot from that.

chat with traders is also good for interviews with people who actually do this shit successfully with a bunch of different strategies. hope this helps, good luck bro. risk management is probably the most important thing you'll ever learn.

Should’ve gotten it when you wrote it. You can hold it and let it expire or let’s say the price goes down and the contract price goes down you can buy back the contracts you sold at a cheaper price freeing up your shares and pocket the difference and then sell calls all over again and repeat. You need some volatility to do this but it can be done and sometimes it’s actually safer to buy them back then letting them go to expiry as there’s always a chance they run up out of nowhere. As long as your strike price is above your average you’re golden regardless.

Currently I have an M1 Finance account that I set up to buy boomer divvy stocks but I've since changed my strategy to focus on growth (tech) and speculative commodities (silver).

My approach to the market is big picture oriented not so much focused on political is even shorter term economic issues of the day.
To wit, first, the foundational belief is, in the long term, markets will go up; in the medium/short term markets will go up and down.
The biggest danger when picking investments is the possibility of catastrophic loss thus what you should look for are tickers the least likely to ever go to zero.
This reduces to the indexes SPY, QQQ, etc.
Realizing, however, that indexes move slowly, look at leveraged ETFs with indexes as the underlying so SPXL, TQQQ, etc.
Upon realizing the dangers of margin, note leveraged ETFs are daily rebalanced and the market has circuit breakers that make it unlikely in the extreme a leveraged index fund will drop enough to liquidate in a single day meaning it's essentially never gonna happen (cf. the historic dive in March 2020 where indeed index ETFs did not liquidate).
Then look at leveraged index and sector based ETFs and see which ones have a plausible narrative for going up the most in the shortest amount of time. This leaves tech ETFs TQQQ, TECL, and SOXL. Of these, SOXL has been the top dog historically so that's where the investment money goes. That said, you won't go wrong with any of the three

By assessing the current trend we should be due for another period of high. Coupled with the fact that it is a finite resource, each high will be larger then the previous high (unless more natural crude oil deposits are found)

COMPOUNDED with the excess oil caused by corona, the price of fuel has dropped significantly, and in consequence investors have shied away from it, expecting the next pump to occur in the next 3 years.

What they don’t realise is that fuel (especially refined and once extracted) has an expiration date of about a year or so, this means a lot of fuel is simply going to get dumped. This will lead to a rapid rise in prices and in consequence a very high pump.
