If you compare 2020 to 2007 and 2000 then you'd have to be a bit mental to think this is over.

Conversely I think an economic crisis may get people who don't normally pay attention to economics to think about it temporarily, and in 2020 that may involve large numbers of people becoming interested in crypto... and if this V shape becomes a W shape the increase in interest in crypto may get even huger, especially if it continues to outperform

The markets are not the economy and they are forward looking. Bad news is priced in. Obviously we'll get red days but March was the bottom and we won't see it again.

Bad news was priced in when we hit the bottom in March, then every reserve bank in the world started panic-shitting liquidity and equities ballooned. Simple cause and effect. The money printers didn't solve the underlying problem which is a pandemic in an already weakening economy, they were treating the symptoms not the disease. The question is what will happen when we all get vaccinated and they turn off the stimulus.
