yes, it actually made sense at the time as all tankers basically locked in record profits for the next 12 months guaranteed, but the stocks basically crabbed downwards and didnt really do much. people who held for dividends did OK because the divvys were fat, but they all would have made more money just dumping it into Facebook or some other tech stock for the same amount of time
