Ive been hodling 380 link for over 2 years now. My stack is near $5000 now. Link is about to change my life. I could finally afford to buy a car, a small rural house, and new shoes.

A group of friends of mine have started getting houses from a certain village and renovating them. They got plans to build workshops for their crafts and work the land for food. I want to join them maybe, like one of them is a mason and wants to build a shop for tile making, another is a butcher and theyre thinking of turning one of the rooms from an utility building into a butchers shop.

Anon, try Dancing Rabbit in Missouri. You'd be able to keep growing your assets while living there. Twin Oaks and East Wind are really built up but any interest on assets are required to be donated to the commune while living there. Technically you can own a stock or other asset but you can't sell it until you leave or else the commune gets the profit.

Twin Oaks specifically is very very nice and built up though. They have jacuzzi tubs, swiming ponds, libraries and a big computer room and huge common areas. They also have a factory on site to make tofu to pay for everything. You do get a 100$ stipend every month, your own room, some medical care and really good food. That money is also yours to keep completely.

I don't know what the bylaws at Acorn Community down the road from Twin Oaks are. They're anarchists so it might be more amiable to people with assets. Visited there once too, they have a big living room with gaming pcs and a tree house village. Communes are pretty dope. TO and Acorn are in Virginia and East Wind is down south somewhere.

One theory in war is the idea of support zones, locations that provide food and resources for those fighters in the front lines (the front line in peaceful countries is not a military line, but a social struggle, usually in the cities). If i partake in building a rural support zone, those social justice warriors doing social work (being part of society as you put it) can come to our relaxing rural commune to take days off and replenish their energy, and we could get them food so they could save money for other costs in the cities.

My part in the revolution is going to be small anyways, might as well choose a part that fits me (=peaceful living in hippie shit). I'm feeling old. Every year homeless i feel has taken 3 years out of my health. I don't want to compete for victory, except for victory for all.

My sleeping bag is rated for -30°C at the extreme. It's pain, and winters are rough. Sometimes I'd sleep in the library find a corner and fall asleep with a book in hand, rather than sleep out during the coldest of nights. The coldest, like i replied before, some nights i'd walk instead of sleeping. Walk walk walk and sleep walk.
