the baseline ZEC performance is going to be pretty good simply because its halving is going to get priced in. it has high inflation at the moment and sustained a half billion market cap for the better part of the bear market so that's going to translate in some movement upward.

to answer your question about ZEC. so even though the baseline performance is good and that it will trickle down to ZCL simply by virtue of being a fork of Zcash but without its main contention point: the devtax. the real question that can make the difference between x50 and x500 gains is whether Zcash can outperform the whole market and its own baseline by an order of magnitude. that i don't know. it's possible but only under specific set of circumstances that we can't predict
