They are generated on everytrade.
Every time someone buys a token that is on the pool. He pays some small % as a fee that gets deposited on the pools as the trade occurs.

No that is wrong, and so is the anon who told that was correct. Your ownership percentage is multiplied by the 24 hr fees, not the 24 hour volume. Think about it... If everyone made their ownership percentage in fees on the transaction volume then poolers would collectively capture 100% of every transaction. The fees in the uniswap ("delta") pool are paid on every transaction. The fees in the balancer ("Phoenix") pool are paid in bal weekly. Usually Tuesday.
