Yes trading short term are gambling, while long term you are actually investing into the team.

I have recently managed to pick bottoms and tops. Firstly, open your exchange. Then, list all the crypto you want to trade (my criteria is the projects have to focused into technology/commerce, and not defi [supporting the practice of usury] or for social/entertainment/casino/gambling uses [promoting degenerate activities]).

Before you make the decision to trade. You have to understand the whale's mentality. Our (small investor) problem is that we dont have huge capital, but what are theirs? Their problem is their trades can be tracked if they are not careful since they have huge capital to trade with, so they need to take their time structuring their orders to hide from exchanges that are tracking them.

Time is important here. They take their times usually a quarter of a year or half a quarter. So you want to look at all the price charts of the projects you listed and look which have been downtrending hard for the past 4 months to buy, and which have been uptrending like a bubble to sell. These whales do not day trade, they like to play the waiting game and they only buy it is the cheapest project on the exchange and sell if it is the most expensive project on the exchange.

When you make your decision to trade, dont enter all of your capital at once, but structure it. Today is 10usd market buy, tomorrow is 10 usd market buy, and so on.. to reduce the risk. Then, be thankful because you have saved yourself from being stop-hunted by the whales and exchanges.

Because when you buy a downtrend of asset A, that means the money from asset A is flowing into asset B that is on the uptrend.

Just be patient and wait it out. When the whales are selling asset B, they will flow their money into asset A to avoid potential losses or to reduce risk which will end the uptrend of asset B and end the downtrend of asset A. It is all about the negative correlation with these whales.

Dont forget that when corona dump happened, some projects dont give a shit and proceeds to pump anyway.
