Since the start of the pandemic in late January, CLX share price has already risen by 50% (from the $150-$155 range in Jan. to $230s now). This price rise has ALREADY been factored into a company that frankly isn't dynamic and has few other revenue streams outside of their flagship brands -- demand for which will only lower after the pandemic winds down.

Anons, why aren't you buying puts in Intel? Their earnings were disappointing, products are delayed, they had a massive leak with more to come (apparently), Apple is moving to ARM-based processors, and AMD is making superior products in almost all of the competing spaces. Of course they'll eventually recover, but a short-term put isn't a horrible option right now.

EMs, and their USD denominated debt is effectively a short on the dollar. Depending on their central banks inflationary policies, they can basically pay off their debt faster since the USD in some cases is devalued against their currency. But it makes their exports marginally more expensive (generally), so it's kinda complicated. You've also got to consider business contracts and when they were written and how.

Clorox is up 52% YTD and trading at a 32 PE and they're a one trick pony with generic competition. On the commercial side of things they don't compete with janitorial suppliers, commercial is going to chose bulk generic for wipes.

You do you, I won't tell you what to do, but I don't see it going much further. Even if it does their capital allocation is what really matters, and other than acquiring something like Betco (long shot) I don't see a whole lot of room in the market.

Equities, not the economy. Literal money printing back then was convoluted and controlled. But all the anger about wage stagnation and rising health care costs, etc. were all tied to a recovery primarily in the markets.
TARP was the beginning of the corporate socialist state, and was ultimately responsible for the anger that gave rise to both the Tea Party and Sanders-bros. This rally since April has been like a hyper-abridged version of 2009-2020. The rally is even top focused in the exact same megacap tech companies.

The only thing we were sure of, is that it spreads like wildfire. If you look in the wrong direction while farting at 3:04 pm on a Tuesday, you’re gonna have a date with Corona-Chan. hundreds of thousands of people flocked to California during the gold rush to try an make it. The gold was discovered in 1848 and by the time word got out in ‘49 the gold was all but gone. The people who actually got rich were the salesmen who sold panning supplies to the suckers who came. Your state was founded by what was essentially a pump and dump scam, the people who still live there are no different than IVR and GNUS bag holders, an explanation is required.

Things were already moving to streaming platforms between Amazon Video, Netflix, Hulu, etc. And it isn't like studios enjoyed dealing with the theater conglomerates. The fact that Disney has taken the most tentative step to putting new releases on their own streaming platform (Mulan) just accelerates this.
Theaters are rather dirty, overly conditioned, and overpriced viewing experiences that you can't control or pause. I think that industry is now entirely novelty instead of mainstream. People want movies. They may probably not want them in theaters if they can just choose from any of a dozen streaming services.

Women don't invest money. They invest socially (choosing a mate, friends, etc). Take advantage of that. My gf is much better at socializing and I've gotten a few side gigs that way through friends of her friends. If she is like my gf, you can probably get her to invest in your own home and even a second house to rent. But 99% of the time women can't into investing into something they can't lay hands on. Buy her gold jewelry, because then at least when she is bored of it, it has some value. But they will always want that worthless diamond ring for 10k dollars, which could be sitting in your trading account collecting 150 bucks a week in covered calls.

She doesn’t refuse just keeps putting it off. She tells me her priority is paying off her semi secret mountain of credit card debt but she’s only making like 2 or 3 times the minimum payment.

Hang around Habitat for Humanity's ReStore's in your area. They often get very nice furniture and sell it for 10-20% of its original retail price. That's where I pick up all my furniture. Kids/grandkids who don't give a shit/are too rich to give a shit often dump their old dead relatives' extremely nice shit there.

Accurate, they make some very durable leather sofas now. My brother has one and I thought it was a mistake between his dogs and kids, but the thing has had the shit beat out of it and still looks good. Even having wine spilt on it didn't stain somehow.

Fortunately she has zero interest in jewelry or fancy clothes. Her only splurging is on electronics and other gadgets though at least they usually have a useful function like kitchen stuff. Her debt is because she was too nice and used her cc to pay a friend’s rent and living expenses to keep them from becoming a hobo a few years ago.

Women don't comprehend monetary value. This is why as soon as they got the right to vote taxes went up 700% over the next decade. Their only comprehension of "investing" is something with a social payoff. Put her to work "investing" her labor into a house or investment property she can instagram about or brag to her worthless "friends" about. Then she'll do it.

Her family taught her bad money habits but she’s proven to be very teachable so far. So I’m optimistic especially after she got a 75% raise. Sheit she almost makes as much as me. As soon as she is ok with pulling the trigger on that IRA I’ll have even more TQQQ.

i'm checking out this terminal and it has level 2+dark trades shown in order book and trades history in real time, but the coolest feature i find is it lets you click to buy and sell right on the order book effortlessly. like i can click to buy 1000 shares for a price and it immediately buys or sells. so no fiddling with typing shit and you can get in on pumps and get out really quick. but it costs $500 a month.. worth it?

5% rotating quarters make me nearly $600 a year in statement credits between my Discover and Chase. You pay the statement every month and never pay any interest. Free money. And then you get special bonuses during times like this. My AMEX gave everyone 10 $5 credits towards every purchase at a "small business" of at least $10. So if you order a $10 lunch/dinner like I've been doing AMEX is paying 50% of it every time.

Will it make you more than $500 a month? Not worth it unless you’re a professional trader ie it’s your full time job.

actually missed two opportunities this week from having to fucking type numbers and clicking buy, same with selling, only to be refused as the pump and dump happens so fast and i have to redo the order (on the current shitty broker page)
it seems efficient
