I put 25k in crypto in end of 2018 and early 2019.

Now it's about 120k, and I have adjusted the distribution a few times to preserve that wealth by moving large % of my holdings out of shitcoins after they mooned, to btc/eth which are about 85% of my stack currently. Still chase shitcoins but maybe with initial 1k investment each.

To my it doesn't really seem like that much, I watched it rise and fall and rise again, it makes 'sense' why its so high. But I was talking with my uncle who is a financial advisor and he practically spit his drink out.
>WHY HAVENT YOU TURNED MOST OF THAT INTO ETFS/INVESTED IT?!
Was his attitude. He thought it was ridiculous. I guess maybe it is. My question is...should I split off some of the crypto stack and diversify into real world stuff? I have like 10k in savings and 20k in stock market already. He seemed to think it was ludicrous to so much in crypto and so little in stocks. Stocks look like they are near ATH and just as fake pumped as crypto to me.

What does /biz/ think? Is there merit to this attitude? Or should I fomo 20k of my btc/eth stack into shitcoins this week?

Of course you should anon. Don't be dumb. Take half of it and secure in safe investments at least. I hold <5% of my portfolio in crypto, but realistically it should be less.

Just take half out and fomo half into an assortment of shit coins. Shot gun method works best in crypto Tbh. Even if 3/4 shitcoins lose 50% value the 4th will pump 500% in a bull market...but yeah be ready for the big rug pull at some point and cash some out.

PLT, DAM, XFT, LID. I put 5k into each the other day.

I am aware of that. If I had put that 25k into stonks in 2019 they would have dumped to shit this year and only just now barely came back to where they started at. I try to be nice and polite to this man because he is ideologically based and hates niggers as much as I do.

Im going to go get some food, leave your advice or low cap shitcoin picks here for my consideration.

No uniswap scams please, those are too volatile for my purposes.

Don’t listen to all these fucking retards telling you what to do with your money anon

Keep doing what you have been doing, obviously it is fucking working. Crypto is still the fastest growing asset class and will continue to be. Stay in it, keep doing what you do. 120K isn’t much

The average "financial advisor" thinks that 90% of people who touch crypto go broke, because he only deals with the normies who fomo'd in 3 years ago.
The average crypto investor who has been in the game for years now is massively in profits as long as they didn't throw everything into shitcoins.

You're hesitant because you're intelligent. You know there is no correlation between your choice in one investment and another. You should diversify into the market because you want to. But you don't know what to invest in, because you have your own methods of assessment. If you gave up that perspective and tried a passive investment vehicle, or tried passing off that choice and your money to an investment advisor who invests it for you, that would be a totally different way of investment which you very wisely recognize as something you have no experience in. You got to where you are because you didn't make stupid or quick decisions and now you are considering taking another approach. The fact is your stock picking ability could be high or low, and your ability to stay in a position could be high or low, but in general, you're smart enough to know you have a very low understanding of the securities markets, the companies involved, the market dynamics, and all the rest; in fact you probably have little formal economics knowledge or experience in financial accounting.

Compromise solution:
Take ~50k and put it in a secure "real world" investment. Keep the rest in crypto.

That way, even if the bottom falls out of crypto, you will still have doubled your original $25k.

I like this assessment because it strokes my ego.
Personally I think we are heading for a currency crisis. If I am going to diversify I would do so into rare earth and precious metal miners in the USA. I don't know anything about securities market as you said, and only understand crypto hype. I also don't like and don't understand most securities trading laws, and the thought of being restricted because I dont have some gay million dollar certification bothers me.

Im not joking when I say that I suggest u buy a purchase of link with large investment of chainlink

>> No.21118045

>>21117965
I don't buy shitcoins at the very top of a parabolic pump. If I will ever invest in chainstink again, it would be after a massive(needed) correction after the speculative bubble bursts and the true value of the chainlink network is discovered.

I made about ~10k off chainlink since 2018, bought around 40 cents sold the coinbase listing pump, but I would never hold it in its current state. The cultlike behavior of much of /biz/ towards this coin will more than likely result in financial disaster for many of you unless you secure and redistribute some of your gains.
