the only variable is the mcap, since the supply doesn't change, so low Mcap means potential for a higher mcap, and a higher Coin price

This. Buying into low mcaps is only viable if you're early in on it, and you NEVER hold onto one after it pumps. You do it to build capital, that's it.

not true. the circulating supply changes, the total supply doesn't.
mcap = coin price*circulating supply
coin price = mcap/circulating supply
the market cap is simply a product of the coin price and the circulating supply
