No, he knows he HAS TO cash in the three-year hype this time. This is literally the perfect time to give a certain date for staking. Everyone has been edging for the last three years and he's been collecting "partnerships" which added to the excitement. If the stalls this for one more year, everyone is gonna start realizing none of the partnerships are actually real and it's just a big bubble of buzzwords and empty dreams. Sergey is a clever man and he knows this is the perfect opportunity to push one last rally by giving a staking deadline several weeks ahead for the inevitable pump and cash out gradually until all the hype tops out and slowly diminishes.
