has swipe actually promised anything concrete, that they'll do to make their cards more lucritive?

i decided to try it, and saw a lot of conditions in the app that were never mentioned here.

>$25 membership fee, even for the "free" card
well, never seen this for any other crypto card but ok i guess

>daily atm limit $100
very weird, what if you need more cash (e.g. playing poker), but no dealbreaker

>$1,000 daily purchase limit
WHAT. you can't buy a decent notebook, a galaxy s20+/ultra or a valve index with it. you can't even book a longer/more decent accomodation, or overseas plane tickets for 2.

seriously what the fuck.
trying to keep this thread as little shilling as possible, but i'm gonna compare it to crypto.com midnight blue card (EU version, as that's the only market where swipe is actually available in, despite denominating fees in $ value)

>$0 membership fee, $0 stake requirment
>daily atm withdrawal limit €2,000
>daily purchase limit €25,000

NOW if you stake $60,000 worth of tokens, and pay $50 additional membership fee, you get a $10,000 daily purchase limit with swipe and $300(!!!) daily ATM withdrawal limit

but then there's crypto.com's ice white for a $16,000 stake that suprasses anything it can offer in every aspect by a ridiculous margin

so please, keeping this thread as objective as reasonably possible on /biz/, is there any reason to get a swipe card / buy sxp beside some random anons wishful thinking they'll suddenly offer advantages nobody else does?
if so, why are they keeping their cards so insanely limited right now?

thx

Yes. CZ will turn on his bots sooner or latter. Other than that, no reason i could think of right now.

While I don't doubt that binance will fix up any issues with the cards, do you seriously think the cards need to be useful or functional in order for the shitcoin to moon?

project is starting, just give them some time, eventually they will find the right balance, otherwise the whole project is a big fail, if CZ believes in it and backs it, I think it is not likely to fail

i'm not convinced. brian amstrong is also good at building an exchange. coinbase was valued at $8bn at its last ($300m) financing, which is much more than binances', yet his card remained shit for the past 1.5 years.

coinbase is only big because it's so old and established and normies know of it. beyond that they haven't really innovated or done anything particularly exciting at all

meanwhile binance has risen from a literal who to big swinging dick of crypto. if there's a debit card game in crypto they will make theirs popular

and I said, even if not, the hype and speculation on the coin is massive

so you think if binance started out by charging people to be allowed to use the exchange, had trading fees that suprassed other exchanges, limited massively the maxium value of cryptocurremcy that users can trade in a single day, and the number of countries where binance was available was also dwarfed by competition, CZ would have still pumped bnb to 3 billion?

>> No.21043013

>>21042824
dude.. i was there. I bought BNB when it was 0.5usd. Everyone put ton of FUD and i sold early.

Binance was just another shit exchange back then but they innovated quickly.

>> No.21043220

>>21043013
well i started using binance in 2017 november and they were really good by then. they offered the convenience of bitfinex with the addition of letting americans trade on them, and not being laggy.
but CZ and his team was working on traditional exchanges for 10 years prior to binance, and they made an exchange that eclipsed the competition in the crypto space (for a wide range of users) pretty much instantly after release.

my point is

1.that just because someone is good at making an exchange, doesn't mean they're also good at being able to deliver a lucrative card.
>>21040970

2. bnb did have a very important actual utility, for many traders it was a necessary buy because binance was the exchange that suited them the best. there are absolutely no crypto card users whom swipe suits the best.

3000 = Make it
30000 = OG

The reason why it's because of risk management. They don't have the capital requirements to extend or litereally prevent a "bank rush." meaning they would have to liquidate fiat much more to afford withdrawals.

The membership fee is to pool together and minimize the backoffice employment and fees.

The workforce is going to be super overworked, and I bet they have serious workflow issues.

Fuck man, I wisk in Compliance and I think this is a pain.

>daily purchase is low lack of liquidity. even though they can sort the risk range dependent on merchant. There is a unique number per merchant catagorery.

>most fraud is conducted via withdrawal so that's why super low withdrawal limits.

That's it.
