desu I'm a little concerned that the release wont be all that we hope it will. I havn't tried the Beta DEX yet, but i don't think it's going to get much traction until there is an easy integratable wallet like metamask. the reason uniswap is so popular is because its just so freakin easy to use. Any sort of barrier is going to cut down on the number of users and thus volume.

anyone have any experience with wallet integration specifically and ease of use on the platform? I've seen the video of the platform and it looks slick and easy but haven't seen how the wallet works

okay i think i get it now. Send you're funds to the "light wallet" which is maybe comparable to something like MyEtherWallet, and that is connected to the dex and funds are traded from the wallet.
For some reason i was thinking it would be a similar experience to using the xsn Core wallet, which is pretty clunky.

core wallet simply enables you to run your own staking node, and also is required to set up your master nodes.

The team does not recommend you run the core wallet/leave it open for long periods of time unless you are acting as a merchant node and need to distribute TPoS rewards.

Yeah, I'm not completely sure how the light wallet works, but I believe it doesn't hold the blockchains themselves on your computer, which is what makes them capable of having so many different coins while remaining small in size, etc. So the potential users will just have to get a download of the light wallet and then send their funds to their address and start trading, within minutes basically.

Sure, you can copy it, but in this case the app & the coin are systematically interlinked - to modify this would require a significant amount of work, both to replicate/reverse engineer the app, and to create a new coin (or fork XSN) to recreate the tokenomics.

Then, you'd have to get user adoption, find new liquidity sources, establish a hub system, etc. etc.

It's really not as easy as just copying a git source tied to a webpage and recreating the site on a different URL. It would take quite a bit of work to rebuild/reverse engineer the app.

Well information posted in forums is usually based on research. From what I personally have been reading, forking is difficult because there is closed source code for the wallet which has many years of development behind it.

Next, there is first mover advantage with masternode holders. So you would also need to convince people to buy into other nodes instead of Stakenet which may not make sense economically unless you have some cutting edge twist added.
