Holy shit I just realized... I'm in the top 2000 wallets, but I wonder where I rank in terms of just canadians holding link. Top 100? Top 10?? Fuck... I'm gonna set up a fiefdom in some shithole in saskatchewan and rule golden waves of grain and breed local farm girls.

But it doesn't account for people on exchanges, just separate wallets on the eth block chain.

Canadian laws are basically the same, you owe a capital gains tax on your trades or when you cash out. If you're trying to dodge taxes I wouldn't trust any companies in the 5 eyes countries

I’m planning to use Shakepay but I’m going to try and negotiate a better exchange rate when I do it. There was a 40$ difference in a 2500$ exchange so it’s pretty significant

I'm cashing out using coinbase (Fees are bad and 30000 limit to paypal)

From paypal to bank there is no fees if linked. This is from a test I've done.

I think the spread is usually around 2-3% when selling on Shakepay. So not the worst. Quick and easy though. 50% of your gains is taxed as income, so works out to be a little more than 15% tax on your crypto when you trade/sell.
