I lost interest in pretty much everything after getting into crypto, why?

Because crypto has the potential to give you everything you are interested in. It's a perfect mental placeholder for the best version of everything you are interested in.

It is your hope for salvation. Once you reach your salvation you will regret the time spent obsessing over currency. I am also going through the same problem right now. I should not be checking prices, I should be living. I am an addict.

>> No.20943000

Yeah same actually.
I guess it just scratches that itch that gacha and trading card games have me. Gambling on gains vs lucky pulls is so much better for my wallet
A hobby that makes you money and is interesting from a technical standpoint is helpful. I took so many online classes on crypto and trading and could never muster the willpower to do that for anything else in my free time

it dwarfs a lot of stuff

Any scientific explanation to this?

This is what 24-7 volatility, money printing, and trading will do to you.
If you just hold long term without intention to sell, you won’t have this feeling.
If you just got into position recently looking to exit.. then you will have traits of a Las Vegas gambler who’s looking to get rich quick.

>> No.20943550

Lets say you make it...
What will you do with your new found cash money?
What hobbies do you want to take on, where do you want to live? What do you want to do...
Outside of Crypto what are you doing to move towards your goals?

I'm sure these thoughts will be nothing to many, but it's easy to lose sight of what you want when the lottery appears to be in your favor.

Oh, my mistake. I think that is probably because you want to stay up to date on every development so that you can monitor your investments. Things move quickly in crypto, and with the volatility you have to watch closely and be ready to buy or sell at a moment's notice. It requires a lot of attention if you are in the position as >>20943545 described perfectly.

>> No.20943632

>>20943550
This is the hardest thing to do.
At least you can look at numbers to see how far you are from your goal of making it and it's easy to recognize mistakes which lower your amount of cash.

It's impossible to tell if you are going in the right direction and doing what you really want.
With money it's easier to make bigger mistakes and spend more time on the wrong path.

The thing is I’ve already technically made it for where I live.
And I have no answers to all 3 of your questions.
It’s like I forgot why I started doing this.
Money wasn’t an incentive for me because I lived comfy just by freelancing.
All I did was play these addicting f2p games which satiated my dopamine levels daily.

It's the same for me.
My current issue is to find out where I want to live and what life I want to have.

I have not been living my life in these last 10 years I spent in Germany outside of my home country.
But my home country is completely fucked and the first thing a millionaire do there is to leave it...
Even if I went back I have always been an outsider and have gotten better treatment in Germany.

I can't expect a normal social life after making it anyway, it changed me so much.
This is some kind of monkey paw wish level of making it.

I am a bit introverted too and is it mad that I think only about myself?

Crypto is a good hobby to get into, but if you have a good amount of money you can literally do anything. Run a political campaign for fun, have like 20 kids, finance some stupid movie or game, you have the ability to do anything really so take advantage of it.

I'm also a 2017 fag, it's pretty obvious that crypto pumps in cycles and not selling will give you 30% or less of what you had if you didn't sell the bull run.
I will cash out gradually after confirming the bull run is real, don't fell for the HODL meme and left holding bag.
