I might be sentenced to ankle monitor. I can either stay at my old job and then they will have to know about the ankle monitor and who knows I might get fired, but I worked there for 4 years so maybe not, but it's also embarrassing as hell. This is full time "permanent" employment.

OR I take a new job I've been offered and I'm guessing if I get ankle monitor they'll just fire me because I'm totally new there and the first 6 months is a trial employment where you can be fired for nothing. I guess then I'll get prison instead. But my old job has said that if it doesn't work out well at the new job I'm welcome back but only for a "needs employment", not "full time permanent employment". But then if I'm fired at the new job for the ankle monitor I could just tell the old boss I didn't like the new job and I want to come back.

Which to choose, old job or new job?

There is also a problem perhaps. I got a deadline when I had to give my old boss an answer if I wanted to come back to my old job with them or go to the new job at another company. I told him I'm coming back. While simultaneously not telling the new job about this, so I technically have both jobs right now. The problem is I don't know if it's A) too late to change my mind with the old boss and take the new job, and B) if I'm welcome back if I do this.

the charge is unprovoked assault of a woman who doesn't know me, more shameful and embarrassing than some other types of assault perhaps, and perhaps with worse consequences

i'd suggest stay at your current job but stop seeking /biz/'s advice on major life decisions.

the answer can only come from inside of you.

the accusation is that I approached and talked to a woman who doesn't know me, got rejected, then punched her a few times

Can you stop making this same thread three times a day.
I hope you get sentenced to five years of "fuck me in the ass" prison.

It's gonna be embarrassing as fuck when I have to tell my work about the sentence so the correctional office can have a "contact person" at my work, they're probably gonna find out about the whole thing then, and possibly all of my fucking work will know, maybe I even get fired as I said. Why do you suggest to stay at my current job?
