You're worried about your good-goy score in this economy? Lol. What for? If the system's crashing the last thing people will care about will be their bullshit credit score.

Just kidding - we don't crash after-all? Okay, still going to limp along with however many millions more unable to service their debt and defaulting. This will back up the banks, present a political risk for lenders [if the lenders push too hard the sheer numbers of defaulted voting citizens will cry out to the politicians], clog up the infrastructure designed to process defaults/credit decisions and so on.

One final note - banks are stupid, but not too stupid to realize that JM / APMEX / etc. are potential blow out risks. Rumors are circulating in the manufactured spend community of AX dropping the ban-hammer on relatively small bullion purchases despite solid credit history, payment history, years of full bill payments, etc.

If you are going to use your CC to go after bullion/cash, be smart. Buying an open ended Visa/MC GC from a "non-suspicious" entity like a grocery store, mall, etc. may trigger less flags on the risk side. Heads up.

Right, so you simply use your credit to purchase metals at a lower price now, if you expect the price to be higher later, then use your capital to pay it off gradually. Sort of like buying on margin, you don’t want to use more credit than you can reasonably cover within a month or two.

say you own a dollar denominated asset like a gold miner share on NYSE that's brokered by Vanguard. In 2021 most individuals and companies default, followed by a currency reset back to sound money.

What happens to this asset? Assuming the company somehow survived. Do you speak with the miner finance office to recover that share and link it to your new brokerage?

you had like.....since 2013 to buy. you could have put aside like 20k or 30k or 40k and had what? 3000 ounces by now? but you didn't do that because it wasn't enough "gainz" and you wanted to ridicule people who didn't buy shitcoin or whatever the new wall street con is.

the fact is silver as money meme only works if the current monopoly money fiat farce falls flat on its head. then anyone holding more than 1000oz can start to own people and they will labour for you.

you want to own people dipshit? you want to be a land baron with a private army?

these idiots who buy silver who don't understand what a post fiat world would be like will be parted from their PM VERY QUICKLY when things go to shit.

people who understand that who wants to be your servant, and your army and your clan will be a larger determinant on future success than how much silver you own, though the silver helps.

tldr you have to learn how to be wealthy or else you will lose it.

people who havent invested in shiny-friend by now likely lack the foresight to own wealth in the new paradigm which will be very low trust for a while.

you can't buy style and you can't buy regality.
most of you will just go back to being plebs when you realise how difficult it is to hold wealth but hopefully you will be happy with that.

I'm pro wealth, obviously... the point I'm alluding to is that to be wealthy in a silver economy requires more than simply possessing the material. it will require a shift in consciousness that will enable you to make the silver profitable - i.e.: you need to get into the mindset of a land baron who owns a complement of servants/military.

the current paradigm: buy low! sell high! drink champagne in a condo overlooking the downtown area where you can get a front row seat to women getting harassed by immigrants and ignore it through a haze of mood altering pharmaceuticals.

silver paradigm: being a land baron who circulates silver to get the farmers working then engages in large scale trade to keep the community going.

your chances of being cannibalised by someone in your immediate environs is about the same in either scenario but the optics of the latter are far superior in the eyes of the gentleman capable of possessing this material in a meaningful way (ie. going further than selfies of a ten ouncer covering your micropenis.)

I have said this in /pmg/ a couple times before: gold/silver are money, but one must worry about the essentials of life before worrying about money. Money MIGHT buy you food, clothing, security, etc, but only if there is someone with excess willing to trade, and depending on scarcity it's completely possible for rice to be worth just as much per ounce as silver. If supply lines break down (which is highly likely during a reset), how much food or clothing is going to be available?

Study what happened during the Klondike Gold Rush - at its peak in places like Dawson City gold was passed around like copper and things like good clothes, whisky and women (including porn) were insanely overvalued by comparison. Obviously, some smart people got fucking rich by shipping basic goods up north, trading for gold, and shipping the gold south.

If you're going to be the king of the hill after the reset, you have to be in a strong bargaining position, meaning you have to be secure in your position and have what others want, not the opposite. Don't put yourself in a position where you're sitting on a pile of gold but have nothing to eat, or only have one pair of shoes that have fallen apart, or can't cook or boil water because you thought your electric stove would always have power.

No, it seems to me more like he's saying that simply having wealth is not enough to teach you how to manage or build that wealth. It's like when people win the lottery, most of them end up in a worse position than the one in which they started because that wealth wasn't earned. They blow it on frivolous shit, and end up in more debt than any money they ever had.

You can see the same sort of mentality between old and new money. The nouveau riche are the ones who engage in conspicuous consumption. The idiots you see on Instagram and YouTube showing off their wealth by buying Lambos and partying with bimbos (usually) don't have the mentality requisite to turn their current wealth into generational wealth. Old-money types care more about investing that wealth into systems that allow it to grow.

This is why understanding asset cycles is important: real estate was overvalued a few years ago, now the stock market is over-valued, and in the future our PMs will be over-valued. One needs to know when to swap between asset classes in order to put that wealth to work.

thx & good question...
time frame: next 20 years
geography: it is less important to learn geography because we don't know at this time what regions will be controlled by our values. In terms of immediate geography, I would say to be within 2h of a major city on land that can accommodate ~100 people camped out (200 is better). I've got a few tents and a caravan already. I'm also going to work on better relations with local farmers.

recall also that your command of arms will play a larger role than your stack size. the man who has 1000 oz may not be able to hire a competent army but the man who commands 100 men need no silver for he can easily acquire it through conquest. (I'm not pro looting, but to deny this risk is foolish)... You really do need a large posse to guarantee your kingship.

I am a born ruler and so the thought of having to basically babysit an entire civilisation is do-able for me. but not for most. if its not your thing, figure out what is your thing and back a future king. assume a position in his administration: make yourself valuable. or just get close enough to be allowed into the kingdom, where you can do as you please. King is the rule-maker, so figure out where you want to exist relative to rules.

>>20906185
its not futile, its just not enough in and of itself to allow you to be wealthy under the new paradigm. an enduring paradigm has meritocracy which means it will be a lot of responsibility to rule, which will mean most people won't want to and will just latch on to a 'good enough' king-type figure. its like >>20904591 said.

There isn't going to be a complete collapse a la Fallout or anything like that, anon. The government will still maintain its monolpoly on violence best it can and won't take kindly to some Camp Davidian types building up armed compounds and conducting raids on other citizens. You'd be burned out by the cops/military within a year of establishing operations.

What will happen is a transitional period wherein new currency needs to be tested and adopted. Maybe it will be tied to PM, maybe it will be tied to a digital asset, maybe it will be tied to a digital asset tied to PM. Either way, we're not going to see the sort of full breakdown you seem to be expecting.

It's still important to have arm, allies, and money. Especially as the justice system starts to allow crimes against whites as long as they're committed by minorities, but you aren't going to be establishing a sovereign nation on the soil of any Western country.

We've seen currency collapses in the western world before. Germany suffered from such and still had a strong enough state to come out the other side literally conquering the whole continent. Some areas of the USA will be worse than others. Those under Democratic rule will be far worse than those under Republican as the philosophies underpinning their attempts to rectify the collapse are completely different. I could see attempts at municipal or state-level confiscations and redistribution programs. That said, we are a ways off from that. Right now anons need to focus on:

Reliable sources of clean water
Food stores
Guns and ammo
Precious metals

in that order of importance. Society may not collapse completely, but a breakdown in supply lines, hyperinflation, and/or the failure of nannystate handouts is going to have some very serious ramifications for certain areas. It goes without saying that if you live in a city your number one priority right now is to g et the fuck out.

the set i bought for $1200 was 1986-2019 ASEs
i added a 2020 from my other stacks so now its a full series 1986 to 2020.
yep, far as i know 2020 is the last year for the current design ASE to be minted. truly end of an era.
for the full set the avg per coin price = $35. not bad considering today's prices and the fact that many if these dates are difficult to find and run up to. $50 or $60 per coin.
so i think $1200 is a decent deal and I'm thinking of buying another set

I've been collecting banknotes on and off for a long time. I like to get ones from countries that I have visited. When I was in Ecuador in '98 the exchange rate was about 4300 Sucres to the dollar. Soon after they gave up and just adopted the USD.

Sometimes it's painful thinking about what these people were going through watching their life savings inflate away. Pic related may be a preview of what we have in store.
