why has there been so much talk about this coin and its so cheap ?
did the government give up its plan to use it as there coin ?
or are they still going forward with theyre plan?

Kind of. Initially there were the Mellon threads here, lot of normies on reddit/YouTube believe in a lot of similar stuff.
The staff at ripple are incredibly well connected, and it’s been quoted in some legislation. Global banks are already starting to talk about similar things without directly making ripple.
A few days ago an anon leaked a live stream with director at bank of Canada and bank of Brazil and a bunch of prominent ripple partners. They basically leaked that they were going to adopt it to replace swift. Feds, global banks, etc.
It’s very very close to being adopted to replace swift.
Will it reach $2k? Who knows, I doubt it but of all coins being adopted, it’s most likely to be XRP in my opinion.
That being said it doesn’t have the use cases that say Link does.
