However, since time is viewed as the progression of sequential relationships between two or more contiguous events, if there was indeed a point when there was no such thing as time, but assuming the universe did exist in some previous form, be it as a singularity, a quantum vacuum, or whatever, then because there was no time, then there would be no progression from the universe’s previous condition from “A” where there was no time to, “B” where there is time. Hence, if there was a point when there was no time, then there never would be time unless some supernatural (outside of nature) force created it.

We're left with only one possibility, and that is that the universe exists because it was created by someone who existed before it did, a pre-existing intelligent power, namely God. Matter can't create itself, only an eternal pre-existing God can create.

Just to add to my previous statements, I think that this is one aspect that Eastern philosophy understood better than Western philosophy, which is that instead of building systematic axioms and hoping to come to a truthful conclusion on their basis it is far more conducive to 'empty one's mind' and allow for direct experience unmediated by the biases that arise from systematic thought process. Even a statement like 'Christ rose from the dead' can never be positive or negative without making countless assumptions about the nature of reality, e.g. the existence of a past that is causally linked to the present. Or the assertion that God is an ever present being, this statement is neither true nor false because it implicitly makes assumptions about transience itself: the idea that some things are transient creations in contrast to intransient things. All of these ideas are fundamentally rooted to our caveman-tier materialist wiring so that we construct endless arguments that mean things are categorically permanent or impermanent when we have no way of knowing this to be true, thus causing an endless back and forth of arguments when in fact something might be BOTH transient and intransient or any number of other incomprehensible states.
To conclude upon all this I find Christianity to be the most compelling belief when I contemplate what originally made it so revolutionary which is the deeper metaphysics that is a marriage of both Eastern and Western philosophy, an intersection of Platonic idealism, Hindu cosmology, and Zoroastrian ethics. I think too much time is spent on Christian eschatology.
