So uh if I bought Ampleforth at $2,51 at 631m marketcap and it's now $0.73 with 244m marketcap I'm still making money right?

Oh yeahyeahyeahyeah bro so like
like, yeah, you gotta like, buy more, cuz like, money goes down to a dollar, so like, you can only sell the coin when its above a dollar, or they just go down to like, a dollar. Then they take the extra ample away from you to make it a dollar again, so like, but like, if you .... lose money then like, they just give you more coins or something, ahh-hahaa-ahhhh, wann aget wendies?

Ampleforth isn't different than any other token with a fixed supply. Only instead of price changing, supply changes. The result is the same. If people buy, you have more money, if people sell, you have less money. The difference between ampleforth and other currencies with fixed supply is that ampleforth doesn't really have any use other than putting money into gaysir or whatever. I actually don't know what they claim to do. Most I heard was that it wants to be a stablecoin. Which doesn't make any sense because you supply is volatile. There's nothing stable in this. If you actually put in 10k then you either wait for more idiots buying so you don't lose as much, or sell now.

From the rebase man, it's basically free money. If you don't understand why you are at 10x profits right now you have low IQ.

I hope this is a larp anon. You buy for 10k without knowing what the fuck you're buying.

If price < $1, supply goes down, you lose tokens, less tokens on market, to eventually push price up again.

If price > 1$, increases supply so that it can be dumped down back to $1 (or surprise, it can go lower.)

The hilarty of the situation is that now you have tons of buyers who bought at $3, that are already heavily underwater, and will only lose their ampl tokens at every rebase. So every holder should now sell before the rebase steals their tokens, bringing the price lower, only making the situation worse for holders.

He thinks money can be free. And actually thinks other people are retarded. Oh, biz

>> No.20829593

It's so exhausting, /biz/ I posted in 6 or 7 ample thread explaining how the pyramid scheme works, and how the leverage rebases are going to fuck them when it goes negative. Step by step I showed them exactly what would happen and what is happening now and just got called names. This time it was AMPL, before it was DMG and their used cars on the blockchain, before that it was unipower...

It is literally too time consuming to warn newfags away from obvious pump and dumps. Will shills always win, just because they have a vested interest? Is /biz/ always doomed to lose money because people on this board are fucking awful at putting aside their greed and seeing a situation for what it is?

If you think negative rebases are going to fuck people up, and what's happening now is due to neg. rebase, you are actually wrong. The real situation is that rebase is completely pointless and has no effect at all on the market cap. What's happening now is that a pointless coin that was pumped is dumping.

That's just how it is, if you have high enough volume of shills then you can just fill the catalog with threads that look very positive at a casual glance. Newfags gotta get used to it.
