I think there is a currently a misalignment of interests between "crypto enthusiasts" and people who gamble on elections. Most people here are comfortable buying 100k of whichever shitcoin flavor is being served this week because they think they have an edge. Worst case, it goes down and they move on to the next one without losing everything. If they were to go long Trump/Biden, they risk losing it all. If Augur/whoever can attract the non-shitcoin degens to their prediction market it should work. We're early still
