We are beginning a long term demographic shiftas the boomers start dying off. It will be noticable over the next couple of decades. However, europe and other countries are going to get hit a lot worse than the US. This will lead to higher taxes or lots of poor old people depending what different govnts do. Europe is pretty cucked so I expect higher taxes. This could lead to more immigration to the US. Of course the US illegal immigration problem is also just pumping more bodies into the mix and if the dems get elected the flood gates will be thrown open again. So, are prices coming down in the US anytime soon? Maybe. Maybe not.

Property prices won't drop for another 1-2 years even when you account for mass foreclosures/market flooding with new proprties to sell due to Airbnb hosts that are stretched thin with 2-3 mortgages.

Economy tanked hard in '08-09, housing didn't follow suit until 2011/2012. Don't expect housing prices to drop until 2023-2025, the economy right now is like those stilt houses in the Hollywood hills, one landslide/mudslide and they're fucked.
