I am moving to a new city, do I move to Seattle or Portland?

I really like the normal people in Seattle (Engineers), but Portland has the best strip club scene in the Western World. Seattle has that amazing cheap waterfront though...

Which should I move to?

I am a rich, young herpes ridden degenerate already.

You will get sick of the strip clubs in Portland.

Both cities are experiencing a tech boom that is starting to plateau. They are also targets for Californian yuppie locusts who bring their shit culture and will leave once these cities are stripped of wealth and culture.

Portland is kinda lame for a large city. People are clique-y as hell. The weather shifts so much, you will need to get used to the rain and gray skies.

why would I get sick of the strip clubs in Portland?

Here its like $6 a beer, and the closest one is 5- minutes away.

You can touch the girls as much as you want though.

Portland sucks ass, it's basically hyper modern technology companies juxtaposed with heroin addicts littering the streets.

I prefer Seattle myself.

t. Seattle born, Oregon fag.

Im too poor to afford Seattle Seattle...

Really I would have to be buying in Whidbey, Port Orchard, Port Angelese (the home rental market is great), or maybe Tacoma/Des Moines area.

Portland I can afford to get a lot closer to the city.

what do you do for work and why do you want to move?

seattle has a better, bigger tech industry. portland is way smaller than most people think and is pretty expensive for how little job opportunity there is

neither have great weather so if you're not moving for a good job i dont know why you'd bother

Strip clubs in Portland are typically overpriced dive bars. Most of the girls are obvious addicts on the upswing (this town is heroin Mecca), the full nude isn't as appealing as you imagine, and there are a lot of scumbags that hang around these places. Frankly, I don't really enjoy strip clubs, so maybe you'll like hanging around a bunch of greasy numales and homeless dudes while another green haired girl with a skinnyfat body makes a half-assed attempt at being sexy.

used to work in tech

Now I'm starting a heavy industrial service + property management. (both areas are similar for businesses, with same pros/cons) Seattle would be more difficult to serve the entire region, but has bigger regions...

The strip clubs around me are usually drug dealers, construction workers/union mostly (some illegals), IT workers/programmers, business owners, niggers, and salesmen

The women are usually ethnic, meth heads sometimes, and they never have green/pink hair.

Is Seattle a good place for bioinformatics/other biology/biochemistry fields?

Both have fairly premium Medical schools...

Oregon's downtown is a highrise/college zone with their shit tier social work school/hobos, but about 10 minutes away is a the rich area with the fancy medical school.

I was very impressed with the amount of dirt cheap dentist in Portland.

1/2 the price of the bay area.

Is Seattle a good place to start a career in data science? Or will I be overran by Pajeets?
