Note you have to add all of the other tokens into Phoenix otherwise if you select the single token option it will liquidate the amount required to convert the uniswap tokens into them. Yes, they are attached. Balancer is automated market maker, so in the suggested case:
section of wBTC in the pool is sold to buy all other coins to hold representative % (because they go down) of the pool. To be fair it´s not a good case. But you earn fees and BAL token And you can unstake your wBTC anytime. Your coin in pool hardly depends on other coins in the pool.
e.g.
I put my 770 LEND (244usd at the time) at almost ATH (0.3usd) in pool with 50 LEND /50 wETH
= 386 LEND (122usd) / O.51 wETH (122usd)
LEND goes down (now 0.28) and ETH goes up. Portion of ETH has to be sold to buy LEND. I get fees and BAL (not so much BAL because my share of pool with LEND is almost zero) and now after one week I can unstake in one asset (LEND) and I get 954.5 LEND = 279usd (and I believe in LEND so after one week from 770LEND to 954LEND without any work is like heaven for me)
So the good case = pool your coin at ATH (then goes down) and other coins in pool goes up.
Perfect case = everything is up forever.
It depends how you want to use balancer pool.

There is some historical data that indicates annual interest anywhere between 30-1000% percent but this is a small sample and was when the balancer pool had far greater volume than it does now. An approach could be to buy a small amount and test the waters to see return. The worst that could happen is you get an introduction to defi which only has a 1% uptake among crypto users. So there’s plenty of scope for industry growth and the roughly 30% which is possible across many offerings is substantial compared to real world and this alone should bring more growth from outside.

For me, if this coin proves to increase pooling revenue by even a moderate percent then it’s going to go well. There’s a number of other promising aspects so DYOR.

I like this coin but the fees and rewards are vastly over estimated, shit claiming like 900% in a year from the pool is bullshit and theres no actual way to track it, the BAL rewards arent as good as the calculator claims either at max its 15% for the year. I don’t understand why these people are selling $1000s worth of tokens now when the price is clearly trying to climb back up albeit slowly. Imagine being that retard who sells 300k tokens at 5c instead of 7c.

I made good money in Phoenix on the link/eth/btc pumps. Keep in mind the impermanent loss in all of these pools. Both delta and Phoenix have it. Also this anon >>20811795 is wrong. The balancer pool reaps the rewards from its delta tokens. So if you're in the Phoenix pool you only get the bal rewards (and price appreciation from the pooled assets). You can verify this by seeing that your uniswap pool tokens get romoved from your wallet when you pool them on balancer.
