EOS is unloved, but will have a DeFi ecosystem built around it, but without the retarded fees/gas structure that is hindering ETH. Will ETH 2.0 be on time? I doubt it. Will DeFi be solely constrained to the ETH ecosystem? I doubt that too. EOSFinex coming, Voice social coming, plus Block One just bought out a huge BTC mining farm so I'm guessing we'll be seeing wrapped BTC on EOS sooner rather than later, with some kind of staking/mining reward system thrown in.
