Just bought 2k of this. Staked it all on Geyser.

Did I just get scammed? The stake tokens cost me 6 ETH in addition to my AMPL tokens. Do I lose those ETH forever?

How? I feel like I lost all my ETH and AMPL, and the only way to make it back is hoping that when I get my staked tokens the value is still same or higher.

Am I wrong on this? Isn't this like making a bet that the stake rewards I eventually get back (in the next 12 months) will be higher than the initial AMPL and ETH I gave uniswap?

Your 100% right mate, you accidentally put money in the geyser when that is for the developers and node operators to provide liquidity to exchanges, regular users should just hold ampl in their wallet. Unfortunately its locked forever now so you will just have to hope the staking rewards make back your initial in a year or so.
