What the hell is wrong with these fudders and newfags.
Chainlink is building a system of decentralised oracles. The “oracles” are node operators who are selling their data to users who wish to use them in smart contracts. T-mobile are a node operator meaning they now can monetise all this data they have to whomever can build a profitable application for it.
Thus, there are two kinds of Chainlink “partners”. 1) those who run nodes, monetising data, and 2) those who run applications, consuming that data.
At the moment Chainlink is subsidising (1) because they want to grow the network until it’s self sustaining and because staking isn’t out yet. Eventually the payments from (2) to (1) will sustain the network. And penalties from (1) to (2) will protect (2) from bad data.
This fud could only be believed by newfags who have no understanding of how Chainlink system is operating now and how it will operate once fully matured.
